London Daygame 1:1 Coaching Testimonial by Mr G

Last week I had the pleasure of coaching Mr G in London for a day. Let’s hear what he had to say.

At the beginning of the year, I found The Game while cleaning my house, and I thought to myself, This year has to be different. I had been avoiding getting into it for about four years, and I knew something had to change.

After rereading it, I searched online for dating coaches, because by that point, I knew I couldn’t make the start on my own. There was only one coach who really stood out—Thomas Crown. I found his blog fantastic and genuinely connected with the way he wrote about the topic. You could tell there was a real person behind the website.

I got his book and immediately fell in love with it because he’s an advocate of authenticity. Instead of giving you tactics or feeding unrealistic expectations, he focuses on fixing the things we may have missed growing up.

At that point, I knew that if I was going to get coaching, it would have to be with Tom. I really wanted to go for it, but I kept making excuses and pushing it off.

About five months later, I finally wrote the email and hit send—then immediately closed my computer. I told myself, It’s done. There’s no going back now. Tom replied very quickly, and we had our screening call. He’s a super chill guy and gave me a very welcoming introduction to what we’d be doing.

In the days leading up to the coaching, he was very helpful—guiding me through preparations and even helping me pick the best outfit for the day.

Then came the coaching day. I took the Underground to the meeting spot, feeling anxious, but trying not to let those thoughts take over.

When we met, I felt an immediate sense of relief because of the warmth Tom brought with him. Since it was my very first daygaming session, we started with lots of warm-ups and light social conversations. I got into a social state that, honestly, I didn’t even know I was capable of. After that, we moved into real interactions, and they went significantly better than I had expected.

One that really stands out was a wonderful girl who passed by. I stopped her, we started chatting, and I applied everything Tom had been teaching me. I decided to go for it and asked for her number. And… wow—she gave it to me! How cool is that? Before the coaching, I knew nothing and had massive approach anxiety. But hey, that’s exactly what coaching is for.

During the debrief, we grabbed some beers, and some other daygamers joined us at the table. It was amazing to meet people who had been through the same journey I was just beginning.

Walking around London with Tom felt more like two friends hanging out, chatting, and meeting women, rather than a formal coaching session.

The whole experience was fantastic. If I had known how good it would be, I would’ve done it much sooner.

I’ll definitely be doing more coaching with him, and if you’re thinking about starting daygame yourself—hire Tom. I’m confident he’s the best out there. At the end of the day, he made something that once felt impossible seem effortless.
