Do You Need to be Mr Social to Succeed in Daygame?

I think a lot of guys get the wrong end of the stick here. They’re told that to improve their Daygame they need to be a strong extrovert. Naturally, after forcing themselves into talking to a lot of people they get tired, feel incongruent and give up. Whenever you push against your nature like this it’s like trying to walk faster than your usual pace for any period of time: possible only in the short run (walk?) with actively applied willpower.

The issue here stems from people not taking things one step at a time (wow this pun really has legs doesn’t it). Don’t go from being an introvert to Mr Social or Mr Extrovert all at once. Start with a few rules and they can be extremely simple:

  1. When you’re forced into interacting with someone, put on a smile and an upbeat vibe
  2. Ask them how their day is going

That’s literally it. These kinds of situations pop up throughout the day such as when you’re buying a coffee, checking in at reception or paying for something at the till, for example. You’d be shocked at how well people react to this burst of positivity – they’re not usually treated like human beings after all – and you’ll see a little bump in your vibe which you will carry forward into your day.

Over time you’ll learn to look forward to these moments because they kickstart your social engine and then later on from that when you’re approaching girls they will get the sense that you’re the social guy and that what you’re doing is natural. This is another case of, to some extent, actually wanting to appear to be the guy who “does this all the time.”
