I was doing cardio today and thought to myself “Daygame is probably one of the best diets out there.” A lot of guys getting into this have a few pounds to lose (some a lot!) and one thing they definitely should not do is put off starting approaching to diet. Sure, your results will be better once you’ve lost the weight, but don’t let it be an excuse. You can always think of those early approaches as designed to reduce your approach anxiety rather than getting girls. Anything that does come to you can be a nice surprise. I digress…
Why might Daygame be the best diet in the world? Two reasons: the first is the easy one to think of and it’s the actual movement. Here’s the formula you need to know about burning calories while walking:
- A 155 lb person
- Burns 100 calories
- Walking one mile
So if you’re getting your sessions in then you could easily be burning an additional pound of fat every week (you need to be in a 3500 calorie deficit to burn a pound of fat) and that’s without having to take anything out of your diet.
The second is that Daygame is so all-consuming when it comes to your mind space. You can literally walk around for hours without thinking about food because of being so focused on the task at hand. I was really surprised when I lost the effect after retiring. I’d be taking a walk and after an hour and a half – definitely after two hours – I would start thinking about eating something or doing something else. It highlighted the magic effect of Daygame.
I think it’s similar to meditation in that it keeps your brain busy with low level activity. You walk down the street and make an effort to admire your surroundings. You see girls coming towards you, discarding the unattractive ones and eyeing up the good looking ones. You do an approach and get lost in the moment and then afterwards get lost in how it went and what you might send as a feeler text.
