Recently I read a few books on Buddhism and one on Taoism. I thought I’d share them here:
I was also gradually listening to a playlist on YouTube of Alan Watt’s lectures but it seems to have been taken down. Nonetheless it’s easy to find a bunch of his lectures on the site still.
I’m not saying that you should read these books to improve your Daygame or that they would have any effect on you at all. As I’ve learned: meditating with a purpose isn’t meditation. And anyway, I barely meditate nowadays.
But if you have a read/listen and find them interesting then they might help you in the same way that they’ve helped me. In particular they’ve helped me to finally convince myself of the importance of being in the moment and how silly it is to be constantly thinking about the future. For a long time I knew logically that being in the moment was the best place to be but didn’t believe/know it emotionally. It was something that could be glossed over. I feel differently about it now.
That’s all. Comment below if you find those books helpful or have read them before.
