I’m a lower intermediate daygamer with two daygame lays, that I had achieved this year from approaching in a relatively small city in Scandinavia. I wanted to try the euro jaunt experience as well as some coaching. So, after a few back and forths with Mr. Crown we had set up 3 coaching sessions in the infamous daygame place, Warsaw.
I had a coaching session the day I arrived in Warsaw, so we got stuck right into it. We started with a coffee and a talk about my experience in daygame as well as some basic tips and structure for the session. Thomas is clearly very knowledgeable about daygame and there weren’t any topics or questions that he wasn’t able to talk about in depth.
As I did my sets leaning on the advice from Thomas, he listened in and gave additional feedback related to my areas of improvement. He pointed out that I need to stand much closer to my sets as well as giving a stronger opener. This will also reduce the sets to nowhere.
Thomas also talked about how to spot IOI’s, which is something I didn’t really do before. But on a solo session I got a huge IOI from a girl on the main shopping street and managed to get a relatively easy +1. So, this is definitely a useful tool to add to my daygame toolkit.
I would definitely recommend coaching from Thomas, if you have any sticking points or want to take your daygame to the next level.
