Crown’s First Law of Brutality

I admit, I have a flaw (shock horror). My thinking is quite brutal. I try to let people down easily but I can’t lie to them either and the way I see it, life is quite brutal.

Incentives make the world go around and at our heart we are machiavellian beings who will work towards our own agendas, whether that means benefitting ourselves directly or indirectly through selfish-altruism. Culture, civilisation and society are then layered on top so we can work together and co-exist. In fortunate scenarios we use systems that harness our machiavellian nature to create positive externalities.

Having this brutal side of me has served me well when it came to women. It was why and how I drove towards success and put myself first. You might even say it was a feminine part of me, though I would counter that what we associate with parts of female behaviour is simply high value behaviour; we can observe how hot girls and hot guys seem to act quite similarly after all.

Being brutal doesn’t just mean putting yourself first, though, it also means interpreting the world through a brutal lens. Oftentimes, most of the time even, life is hard and – from your perspective – unfair, and you have to suck it up. You didn’t get what you want? Tough. If you didn’t get something you didn’t deserve it. Try again next time and with greater intensity. Ironically, that is true fairness.

Now we come to Crown’s First Law of Brutality:

When faced with rejection, the most brutal truth is usually the correct once

I talk a lot about the Pareto Laws of Interest, for example. That 80% of girls do not, did not and never will like you. Of the remaining 20%, 80% of them are unavailable. That means that you have a snowflake’s chance in hell’s shot of sleeping with them. Forget about it. Move on. Tough.

Once you start understanding the world brutally you can be honest with yourself and only from there will you succeed. If you want to learn to do just that, click the links below.

Yours unfaithfully,
