How You Should Learn Her Language (Guest Post By Juergen)

Today’s post is a follow up from Juergen who’s kindly put this together to explain how you actually should go about learning a language. You can find his first guest post – Why You Should Learn Her Language – here. He’s currently tearing it up in Minsk and putting these skills to great use!

*****

This article is a follow up to a post I wrote in June. This post is about how to learn her language, incorporating the correct mindset to learn a language fast and what are the expected results after achieving fluency.

It is important to mention that most of this post is NOT my interpretation on this topic. It is much more a culmination of knowledge from other people who excel in their respective areas and shared their knowledge with me for learning languages and for the purpose of sleeping with as many hot girls as possible. This means it’s not just my knowledge, but much more their knowledge comprised into one article. You can directly contact my teachers for more info on how to learn a language. Keep in mind that this post is free. All other people make a living out of it therefore be aware of bombarding them with questions without thinking that you don’t need to pay for their knowledge. Much of the knowledge on how to learn grammar and vocabulary efficiently, long-lasting and fast, is based on a friend’s experiences. Niklas Steenfat, a successful Oxford student and “Youtuber,” explains the mechanics behind learning fast thoroughly. More information follows.

What Is the correct mindset of learning a language and why is it so important?

What does it mean to learn a language, really, and how does it relate to any success you want to achieve in life? Does it mean learning a language is “difficult?” Is it simply about talent? And what are the mechanics behind learning a language successfully? To keep it straight and on point: learning a language has almost zero to do with motivation. I can hear now many people booing, trying to convince you that motivation is the most important element. In reality, motivation comes at the beginning and will keep you on track for the first 14 days. You will feel motivated from fast progress in the beginning once you can spout some sentences. Beyond that point, you must understand that it’s about stoically and mechanically repeating your lessons, without asking, on a daily basis, over a long time. It means being a marathon runner, being able to surpass any obstacle by mechanically repeating the process of vocabulary learning, grammar learning, and showing up to class every day. As an example, a Navy SEAL does not complete his mission because of motivation, rather mechanically doing what he must do.

I myself am definitely not talented in learning languages; but I understood that my hardcore work ethics, which are far beyond what most men are capable of, saves my ass and makes me good in this field. Friends label my hard-core working ethics “J-style:” meaning to never give up, no matter the circumstance. My main driver to learn a language is the fear of not having at least tried. You can see so many daygamers looking back after a couple of years saying, “Fuck, if I would have learned that language…, now I would speak it fluently, drowning in Russian pussy juice.” It is horrible to look back, knowing that it’s your fault. Keep in mind that you should be sick and tired of being sick and tired, and therefore simply do it, no matter what.

Forget about the idea that learning a language is difficult. It’s not. Many people mention “mate, if it would not be that difficult, then I would do it.” To be straightforward: learning a language to fluency is not complicated; it’s very, very hard, but not complicated. Simply speaking, by the fact that you think it’s difficult, it will be difficult. There are many examples out there. The Russian letters are learned in 2-4 hours and the Thai “alphabet” is learned in 4-6 hours. When a daygamer senses difficulty in learning a language, all alarm bells are ringing, asking himself, “why should I even try?” In short, there is no magic pill. Run a marathon over a long time, and stoically do your thing. Yes, some will learn faster, some slower, but you will eventually achieve fluency.

And here is another one: I myself learn only languages to which I feel a deep cultural, personal, communicational and sensical attachment. If that feeling is not present, then you most likely will fail. For example, I never would learn Hindi, Cantonese or Tamil, as I don’t feel any personal attachment and excitement when hearing this language. I myself simply can’t identify with their culture.

What is fluency?

The next problem then comes: What actually does fluency mean? And on which language elements shall I focus to become fluent. A search for the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages” reveals a proficient user achieving C1 level can use the language flexibly and effectively for daygame, during a date and to properly seduce the girl in any given environment. It’s very much like a daygamer is able to understand a wide range of girls’ submissive advancements and recognize implicit meaning.

Bringing this back to daygame: you are able to produce clear and well structured, complex dialogues to seduce your target properly. On point, the daygamer shows the controlled use of the target language and can auto-correct the errors he makes. Nonetheless, you never water down the reason why you want to achieve fluency: for the sake of sleeping with hot birds, tons of them, and not for your job or fulfilling mother’s wishes.

You should focus on speaking, listening, and reading in exactly this order. Forget about writing, as this is mostly achieved through reading. You want to sleep with girls, and not write poems. Foregoing writing saves you 25 percent of your time. Repeating myself from earlier: you should be sick and tired of being sick and tired. This means that achieving fluency is not done by listening to the opinions of “YouTube-hyperglotes” such as Steve Kaufmann who claims to speak 20-30 languages, but none of them even close to good and proficient. This opinion is based on experts I asked in this field.

When it comes to achieving fluency, keep a research journal (a language journal). Write down any decision you make and the reason for the decision you made. Write down what makes you change your behaviour to run that marathon. It is very important also to write down any error you committed and how to avoid it the next time. It’s not about only saying “I want to learn this language” and “I avoided any mistakes,” meanwhile you subconsciously blame yourself for committing errors which make you stop learning the language. Another important point is to write down the successes you make. Personally, I don’t learn languages because it’s fun, but because it calms me down and I see myself being an extreme danger for females in a certain market.

So, what are the points you should avoid at any cost?

Always remember that your teacher is the boss. Yeah, it costs a lot to ring on a teacher’s door, telling him that you need his help to achieve your goal. This is only the starting point. Don’t try to boost your ego, by showing her how smart you are, telling your teacher what and how to do. Yes, this is honest: leave your ego at the door, be somewhat submissive and do exactly what the teacher tells you to do, it’s for your best. Your teacher has taught many, if not hundreds of, students and knows what to do. If off the back of that recommendation you’re asking yourself “can I exercise my speaking skills at home with my foreign mates?”, then take this into mind: every error you fortify while learning with your foreign friends, must be undone by your teacher, and then relearned properly again. In other words, don’t speak with non-professionals in your target language, especially when recently starting to learn the language. For sure: don’t learn the language on your own, do it only through a teacher. Ask yourself, how much time and energy you can save by properly learning it the first time right.

You might tell yourself that group classes can be a cheap and good alternative to private classes? In a group setting, let’s imagine a small group with 4 students. You, at best, will be able to speak for 10 minutes with your teacher. Be warned: private classes are so demanding and exhaustive, that the teacher and you are completely drained out after 2 hours. That means two (!) hours of contact time, all time speaking. I myself can, at best, do that as a maximum upper limit on a daily basis. Another important mental point to take as a language learner is to realise that using your own books, applications, articles, dictionaries is the worst thing you can do. Ask your private teacher for help.

Now, put this into the real world. You use only the material your teacher recommends. Many language learners will tell you “Bro, the app Rosetta Stone and Babble is really awesome when it comes to language learning.” If you used this app so far: deinstall it now. Even if your logical forebrain fights against it, that is okay. Deinstall it, search for a private teacher.

The biggest point is at the end. You have walked a long walk and have now reached B1 level. Most people think what great boys they are. Sure, you can and probably will make yourself understand, like one of those YouTube clowns prodding himself for the “awesome set” he did in Spanish or Portuguese, missing the point that the girl wanted, so often, leave the set, because of your lack of proficiency, not bringing trust and comfort, but miscomprehension and confusion into set. She, switching to Google Translate or trying to make herself understand in English, bringing even more confusion into play. And that all because of being lazy, and not learning to proficiency i.e. to C1. And if that does not sound enough: the hardest part of learning the language is the B2 level, as it takes the longest time, and the progress is very slow, almost not feelable. The girl in set can sense in you, when you truly speak her language and are able to provide trust and comfort in her world.

Stop playing around and apply the following points to learn the language effectively

You made the conscious decision to learn a language for the sake of YHT. This all is done through a private teacher. The teacher herself is not enough. Your teacher must have fulfilled at least a master in “the teaching of the target language (e.g. Russian) to foreigners to achieve proficiency.” Don’t hire a linguist, a translator, or a teacher simply having studied the language at university.

Let’s take an example: I contact the ministry of education to learn the Russian language via their webpage https://edu.gov.ru/en with the aim to ask which universities offer the aforementioned master’s programme. They provide me with a list of universities which offer these studies. I have never received a “No” from any of those persons, and they are very willing to help you, providing me with a list of universities which offer those studies, such as https://urgi.urfu.ru/ru/.

Then, you go to the “graduated student” section (e.g. выпускник) and you will get a list of names of persons who successfully finished the respective course. Search for the best students of the year, simply phone the administration office and they will help you. With the names of these students, search on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Google for their contact details. Contact them. The basic rule is: you want the best teachers of the respective graduation years. Tell your future teacher, how ambitious you are and that you want a trial class, if possible, yesterday. Ask directly if they can teach you at least 90 minutes every day, for one year straight. Yes, you have to mention that under no circumstance you will miss any class, and that the biggest nightmare for you would be to change the teacher during that time period. For the Indonesian language you can find a teacher through skype (Александра Ищенко; live:yundegogo). For the Malaysian language you can find a teacher also through Skype (Елена; live:lelyachka.)., the Russian language here, and the Thai language here.

And for the sake of this article: if you can’t afford a private teacher, go back to square one. Stop thinking about learning a language. First fix other areas in your life, such as finances, before thinking about daygame and language learning.

If you want to learn Russian, then always stick with Russian and Belarusian teachers, as they are very direct and sincere with their communication. Furthermore, ask again, if they finished the upper mentioned masters. Some daygamers might ask “is a male or a female teacher better?” The experience clearly shows that female teachers are better, much more patient, and willing to run the extra mile. Once you have selected a teacher, explain that you do not want to speak in English, rather in the language you want to learn, straight from the beginning. This is literally what it means to be thrown into cold water. Make clear to her that you want to entirely realise every class in your target language within the first two months. Throughout any class, open Google Translate, create an account, and quick-save any new word you did not understand. Just note that you have to exactly follow her instructions.

Bringing this onto vocabulary learning: my teacher usec to say “vocabulary learning is done through tedious and spaced repetition.” I completely agree with this, and accordingly use a programme which Niklas Steenfatt, a very successful Oxford student, recommended to me: Anki.

This is the heart of any vocabulary and grammar learning, using the following parameters for spaced repetition https://leananki.com/best-settings/. Most polyglots used to say that you should not learn more then 10 words a day. I completely disagree with that, as spaced repetition allows you to easily learn 20 words daily, resulting in way over 7000 words a year.

I don’t disagree that vocabulary learning is tedious, and it’s difficult to know which words to learn, but in Niklas’ experience it can be overcome by learning the most used words in a given language. Our statistic friends analysed texts and books to provide an exact list of which words you have to learn in a certain language (example for Russian language you can find through https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1147549038). This also ties into the benefit that you don’t need to think any longer about which words to learn. Frequently import the words saved on your GoogleTranslate account to Anki using https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqazNm3Re3U.

Now, the nerds will ask: “But mate, how can I ensure, that I don’t learn the words two times?” For this sake, install the following addons to Anki.

With the last extension “Remove Duplicate Cards,” you can now prevent this from happening. And no, don’t install “Postpone cards Review,” don’t even think about it.

If you are now comfortable enough, after a while, learning on a daily basis new words, I would rather recommend you to not apply “memorization techniques” such as “Method of Loci.” According to my teachers’ experience, they are useless when it comes to active word usage, as you don’t want to first think of a dancing dog with a Coca-Cola can in his paw, before remembering the word “friend” in Indonesian language. When you learn new words, don’t do so in loud environments. Sit down on your bed, relax, ensure that you are not distracted and all, and concentrate on learning. I personally don’t like learning that much, but I love meditating. I love it simply because of the fact that it represents meditation time for me, as I am completely with myself.

Finally, for grammar learning it’s the same game. Use Anki, and repeat the grammar rules as often as required. Try to map new content. An example are German articles such as male, female and neuter (der, die, das). Most students struggle their whole life in learning these articles. Try to find patterns: Any noun in the German language finishing with the suffix “-ung,” “-keit” and “-heit” are always female, accordingly the article “die” has to be applied; always. Try to find such patterns. This means, if you now focus on the ending of every noun, you can tell by its ending, which article must be used. In other words, you can learn all articles in a matter of one or two hours. The same applies to the Russian, Spanish, Portugues, and French language. Ask your teacher for such grammar maps and implement them into your Anki-Deck. Furthermore, search for such grammar maps in Google, but only after having asked your teacher.

Start to listen to audio, podcasts and series, when your teacher says that you are ready. The same applies to any written material, but change the subjects frequently (from medicine to nature, to culture, and so on).

This last one should be self-explanatory but to clarify: you achieve C1 when your teacher says you achieved it. I myself then rest a month or two, not doing much in that specific language, but then coming back for one month of daily classes, to refresh the parts I missed out or forgot. This allows your mind to calm down and weave in all new information you learned, into your daily life.

I’m sure that there will be some people, and teachers, who will contradict certain points mentioned in the way on how to learn a language. This is ok. We have to keep in mind that this is a suggestion to take a certain and most successful way. Other teachers might vary slightly with their teaching style, therefore you definitely have to ask your language teacher in slightly varying from the approach mentioned here, as she is the professional teaching you.

Only learn new languages through the use of the previous language you have learnt

The main point here is that you can save a lot of time, when you are taught in a new language, using the previously learned language as a teaching language. Effective learning here means that when I started learning Indonesian, I chose a Russian language teacher, who explained to me the Indonesian language through the use of the Russian language. This will involve practising the Russian language, of course. In turn, I confirmed to myself that if I can easily follow these classes held in Russian language, then I for sure achieved proficiency in it.

The general impact of languages on the London Daygame Model and impacts on YHT.

Throughout all the above-mentioned points, you always have to keep in mind that the only reason why you learn the language is to get YHT. When I approach a girl, before even opening her, I can almost for certain say which language she speaks and which language to apply. In many cases, the girl directly knows what you want from her, and in many cases your target is so positively shocked about your language skills, that you don’t need to work to attract the girl but rather can jump directly to comfort, leaving stacking and vibing out. In other words, you don’t have to assume any longer familiarity and trust, as it is automatically present through the use of her language. In over half of my approaches, I personally skip out everything and jump directly to “investment.” If a spike is necessary, this can be simultaneously done when the girl is investing in you. The proficient use of a learned language lets you become more attuned to the girl’s emotions and lets you fully focus on calibrating the set according to the girl’s needs. Besides learning daygame, and frequently hitting the gym, the biggest and most positive impact on YHT can be definitely achieved through speaking a new language. You will experience at least (!) a 0.5-point rise in quality, especially with Russian and Portuguese speaking girls. And my opinion here is most likely underrated: it’s ear-shaking, what rise in quality you can expect when being proficient for example in Russian. So, if you’re talking to a girl in her hometown, like for example to a Belarusian girl in Minsk, well, that’s where you can expect the best results (imagine NK in a city like Minsk, speaking Russian fluently….). The rise in quality is experienced particularly with national girls, and not foreigners, in their hometowns.

Add on to the above-mentioned fact, that a friend of mine, an advanced daygamer and known as “the brain,” the “Einstein of daygaming,” mentions that he “does not doubt to any extent, that plus 0.5 points higher” quality is possible. He confirms this as well with his own experience. He adds to the above mentioned, and according to his knowledge and experience, that language learning and such an impact is only then given, when you as a daygamer are “already almost completely maxed out, personally and charisma wise, as well as looks-wise.” I completely agree with this statement. Whenever we see for example a low intermediate to mid-intermediate daygamer, with a major character flaw or personality defect and learning a new language, the bonus of applying a new language would be almost zero. The point is, that the character and personality flaw is simply delivered in a different language and does not add any benefit in obtaining higher quality in women.

He then commented, let’s take an extreme example… “a male 6 with a major personality defect. His defect will cap his maximum quality to, say, 5… Thinking if he perfects Russian, he might not reach 5.5, since he would just deliver his personality defect in a different language.”

That means that language learning is a bonus. First looks-wise, everything must be on point. Then your charisma (Daygame) must be absolutely on point. First but then completely, the new language unfolds its full potential. In short, first looks max out on top then charisma max out, then the new language. As NK writes in Infinite, you have to go through this deep identity change as an intermediate, to then unfold maximum potentials in daygame through vibe, using new languages as an advanced daygamer.

What about the negative side effects?

I don’t want people walking away from this post thinking that there are no negative side effects of learning a language to proficiency. Take myself as an example: I approached a girl a couple of months ago, and she decided to take me out of the game, and I am happy about that. She struck me so deeply into my heart, that I am willing to give up daygame for her. This is especially hard as an advanced daygamer, having just learned two new languages, when a girl decides to take you out of the game, as according to her opinion, you are too great a danger for the YHT girls in her country. On top: I only was able to know her because I spoke her mother tongue.

What could come after the negative side effects?

A good friend of mine, and one of the very best daygamers running around on this planet, asked to participate in a field and hypothesis test, and to publish a paper on how the use of a new language in foreign territory impacts the quality you can get with new women. This means, throughout all the above-mentioned points, a comparison between which quality is expected of a daygamer when using English language versus the language spoken in that specific country. In general, I would be really happy to be part of such a field test, or to be one of the major “field probands” of such a study, but I politely declined. If, at any time, the worst of the worst would happen and I would be single again, then I definitely will be this field proband. Who knows, with a lot of bad luck, there could be a follow up on this topic. Altogether, I hope that this will never happen, but who knows…

Best wishes

  1. Hi Thomas
    As a seasoned daygamer –
what’s ur opinion on going to bars/clubs for one night stands?
Is it practical/easy or lower odds than daygame?
