50’s and I have been talking recently about some coaching in the form of a bootcamp and I’m really looking forward to working with him. As part of each bootcamp I give my students a free copy of my beginner’s guide to Daygame. Here’s what 50’s had to say:
*****
Thomas Crown, Give ‘Em Hell, Kid. Vol 1: A Beginner’s Guide To Daygame.
As a novice daygamer there is a lot of advice available for free. The problem is that it is often random, contradictory and overwhelming. What TC has done with GEHK is put together an essential beginner’s guide that gives the novice all he needs to go from zero to 1000 sets.
The book is divided into four sections with the first part about getting your head right. As a complete beginner myself I found the chapter on approach anxiety particularly useful. There were ways of thinking about AA in that chapter which I’d never come across before and which have really helped me to reframe it in a more manageable way.
TC is also not pulling any punches and there are no “get any girl” promises. As a man you’ve got to bring some value to the interaction and that does include your looks as well as your game. Looks might not be as important to women as they are to men, but that doesn’t mean that looks are irrelevant to women either. TC spells this out and gives plenty of advice on how to improve and develop all areas of your life and game.
This first part also includes an essential mindset section. The emphasis is very much on being an authentic man who is comfortable in his skin and showing that to women. It’s not about tricking women into bed and it’s not about getting revenge on women. The book is very much written from the perspective that ‘seduction is not a battle, it’s a dance’.
Part two then moves into the practicalities of daygame, how to approach and how to direct the interaction. Refreshingly, this isn’t some endless mental exercise and analysis but rather a nicely distilled and succinct explanation of what to do to get you out of your head and onto the streets approaching women.
Section three is a full collection of topics and answers that will necessarily come up during your first 18 months of daygame. Again, TC ensures there’s just enough information here to help you deal with the issue rather than send you down endless and unproductive daygame rabbit holes.
Section four is an action plan that will take you through 200 sets and beyond and explain how to journal and record your progress. There’s also an appendix with some interesting advice around dealing with the common issues affecting most men nowadays: looks, weight and porn addiction.
As a final note it’s encouraging to read something where the author cares about his writing style and product. TC obviously proof reads and edits his books and writes in a nice conversational style, making the reader believe he genuinely wants you to do well on your journey.
GEHK contains everything the beginner daygamer needs to get his head right and to get out there meeting women. Fully recommended.
