I’ve had the pleasure of doing few infield coaching sessions with Tom (with few more in the future).
I’ve been DGing on and off for a couple of years, but I never took it seriously as I would enter into a relationship with girls met online or in other more traditional settings, which meant I kept dropping DG.
I’ve recently made the decision of giving it a proper go and decided to get coaching in order to address any issue. Tom was the obvious choice as he’s the most well respected coach out of those in London
Dealing with him is very easy. He’s a sound and chill guy, who’s able to clearly and concisely express himself. This has resulted in me perfectly understanding how to tackle any sticking point, as well crafting an individualized program on what to focus on whilst I’m DGing solo.
One point worth highlighting is that Tom is a fair guy too. An example of this is that when he does demo approaches (which you can specifically request or he’ll do by his own volition when he wants to demonstrate a specific element of approaching), he’ll dutifully discount the time spent doing it from the overall coaching session timing. Very honest!
In summary, I’d recommend Tom to any DGer who wants to quickly acquire the level of knowledge/experience that one would need countless hours of infield solo sessions. It’s a great investment in my opinion.
