A few months ago I woke up to find myself mentioned in a post on X which said that I was a Game Purist. The post was all about Game vs Frame. At the time, I didn’t really know what it was talking about. Now, unfortunately, I do, because this stuff gets talked about way too much.
See, there are a lot of idiots in the world who use black and white thinking. Then whenever someone comes along and introduces a drop of nuance they get angry because they don’t want to lose face. 99% of the back and forths online are simply because people don’t want to look like they’ve lost. That phenomena has grown exponentially in the modern era of “never apologise, always double down.”
One of the topics that generates this kind of argument – and let’s face it, content, so keep it coming – is “Game vs Frame.” In the red corner we have the Game Purists. People who say that any girl is sleepwithable (™) as long as you have the right Game. In the blue corner there are the Frame Purists. People who say that the only thing that matters is what’s going on inside your head.
It doesn’t take many brain cells to work out that both of these things are important and neither is sufficient. If you know all the techniques and tactics in the world but if you’re a low confidence loser then nothing will come off.. And yet, we still have people desperately pleading for “ways to crush her shit tests.” If you’re a low SMV weirdo but think you’re hot shit, then nothing will come off… And yet, we still have guys asking their gurus to micromanage their thoughts.
