I recently had the pleasure of coaching Mr L. It was great taking him out for some of his first proper Daygame approaches and he has a lot of adventures ahead of him. Let’s hear what he had to say.

I’d been interested in trying daygame for a while and had given it a go sporadically on my own, but I felt like I needed a hand to make sure I had the basics right and to push me to rapidly gain more experience.
I went with Tom because I really enjoyed the content I’d read from him and resonated with his no-nonsense but thoughtful and empirically grounded approach to DG.
The call we had to chat about the workshop made me confident that we’d be a good fit.
On the day, I felt a little anxious before we got started, but I got into a flow almost immediately. One of the useful aspects of Tom’s coaching was the warm-ups he has students run through before beginning to open sets. They sound straightforward, but they were incredibly helpful, and I’ve continued to rely on them post-workshop.
After the coaching, I felt way more confident that this was something I could get good at, given that I’d spent the whole weekend doing it and had already had some successes.
I’d definitely recommend Tom to anyone serious about learning or improving at cold approach—you couldn’t be in safer hands.
