2021 – 2022: My Year In Review

Another Daygame year in the bag. If you’re wondering why I count my year as 1st July to 30th June, you can check out last year’s review (link here). This year I had a big change in my life – which I’m sure you’re already aware of – and I had some great success in the field. Let’s dig into how it went.

More, Hotter and Quicker

I had a standout year in terms of the ladies: more lays than average, more girls going into my highlights reel than before, and getting them faster on average. Here’s the breakdown:

  • 14 lays versus my average of 12
  • Of those, I’d put 6 into my highlights reel of the best girls I’ve laid from Daygame
  • SDLs: 1
  • SDDLs: 4
  • D2s: 6
  • D3s: 3

My approach to lay ratio went up to 60:1 from 50:1 and there are two ways I view that: if you aim for hotter girls, you’re going to get rejected more, so it makes sense and I’m fine with that. 60:1 is roughly my lifetime average A:L too so the other way I can look at it is that I’m doing the same work, on average, as I ever was, but am getting more bang for my buck (pun intended).

Ping Range

My ping range has changed in an odd way. I’d say my Game is getting better and since I lost weight I look and feel much better (I think it’s a gradual process of coming to terms with your new self-image when you become better looking). I’ve also got a better vibe since quitting my 9-5 and I feel as if I want to approach more. I also have more sexual intent these days. That should mean that the pool of girls who are into me widens. However, since I’ve been aiming higher, I’ve been coming across less Yes girls. I certainly feel that in the past I would more often get girls where the meet to lay process was very smooth. These days I more often than before bemoan the fact that some girls can’t just make it really easy for me. Overall I think that hotter girls are giving me more opportunities, but since I’m playing further towards the edge of what’s possible that I’m getting more shit tests and meeting more randomness.

The truth is that women have never annoyed me more than they have this year. I just have to continually tell myself that that’s just women’s nature. Girls don’t make it easy for guys unless they are already really into him. So if she’s a Maybe girl, she’s going to inevitably throw out some silliness which you will have to either actively deal with, or let wash off you like water off a duck’s back. I guess this is the path to amused mastery.

If you’ve never heard the parable of the scorpion and the frog, here it is:

A scorpion wants to cross a river but cannot swim, so it asks a frog to carry it across. The frog hesitates, afraid that the scorpion might sting it, but the scorpion promises not to, pointing out that it would drown if it killed the frog in the middle of the river. The frog considers this argument sensible and agrees to transport the scorpion. Midway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog anyway, dooming them both. The dying frog asks the scorpion why it stung despite knowing the consequence, to which the scorpion replies: “I am sorry, but I couldn’t resist the urge. It’s in my nature.”

I remember reading in one of Krauser’s books how a girl asked him if he trusted women and he responded saying, roughly, that he didn’t trust them as he would a man but trusted them to act in their nature. You shouldn’t be surprised when someone acts in their nature, which is something I need to remind myself again and again.

Quitting My 9-5

I’ve written about this already this year so here’s the link to my previous post. As I mentioned above, my vibe and sexual intent have improved since I quit my job and I feel as happy now as I did during my university days. Things are also going well business-wise and I’m looking forward to bringing out a Patreon service later this year, as well as coaching more guys, recording more podcasts and writing more books.

Taking More Trips

Along with the above, I have a lot more time now for jaunts. Plus, having been on enough now, I feel very comfortable going out to another country and approaching, and have worked out the kind of mindset I need to get laid on said trips. It was unfortunate that I didn’t get to go to Russia before the war went down but maybe I’ll be able to get there in the future.

I’ll be going back to Warsaw later this year (message me if you’re interested in coaching; link here) and am looking forward to seeing how it’s changed since my last visit in 2019. Having visited all the major (available) Daygame cities I’m going to decide which location I want to take the vast majority of future trips to. I imagine it will help my results if I’m (honestly) able to say that I go back there every few months

Hibernation

I recommend you take a break from Game every year to let yourself recharge. If you haven’t done it before you’ll be surprised how much you benefit from it. Each time I come back from my break I feel refreshed and eager to start approaching again. Last year that was from, roughly, mid-November to the end of February. This is the number one way to stop yourself from suffering from burnout: yes you will encounter success now and then during the cold months but you’ll face many more blasts of cold air and blowouts than between the sheets. That comes with a disclaimer: if you’re a beginner then I recommend you Daygame through your first winter. It puts hairs on your chest!

2022 – 2023 Daygame Goals

I’m reluctant to make goals which I can’t control, so I’ll go ahead and tell myself “just keep doing what you’re doing.” I did 840 sets in the previous year so it would be nice to keep that same rough amount going. I’d like to get 18 lays in the next year, so if my A:L slowly improves back to 50:1 then that would mean doing something like 900 – 1100 sets. But I stress it’s something I’d “like,” and not something I’m going to worry about. In fact, hitting those 1100 sets would mean doing 28 sets a week, consistently, for nine months, and I already know I’m not going to hit that number. So I’m just cautiously putting that out there…

Let’s see how I do and what I write in a year’s time.

Yours unfaithfully,

Thomas Crown

  1. Bruh, less than 2% lay ratio means that your game is less effective than just inviting a girl to your place as the opener.

    1. No correlation. Of the six, there was one SDL, one SDDL, two D2s and two D3s. No pattern amongst the ethnicities either. I guess it was more girl dependent than an ethnicity or hotness thing

  2. Did you notice a correlation between quality/hotness and how long they made you wait? ie were the D3s hotter and younger than the D1s for example? Is there any patterns in the D1s vs D3s to extrapolate? would be interesting to explore

  3. “Hotter and quicker” bit of an oxymoron no? And no word of quality? Did it go over the word count? 😀

      1. Hotter/Quality: 6 out of 14 would go in my highlights reel. Rest were run of the mill lays.
        Quicker: average “D” i.e. D1, D2, D3,etc. was lowest ever
        Ethnicity: 6 slavs, 5 central/western European, 1 arabic, 1 indian(ish), 1 turk
