You’ll Never Have It As Good

I was scrolling through Instagram today and realised it’s something I shouldn’t do much. Doing so reminded me that as a man, you will never have the sheer buying power of a young, hot girl. Now, it’s true that hot girls are rare, but hot guys are rarer, but you’ve still got to go out there and make something happen.

As I was scrolling I came across a picture from the Swedish girl I fucked before Christmas; she’s now having a whale of a time in Thailand, sipping creamy cocktails and lounging on the beach in her bikini, while I’m fighting the wind and rain to get to a yellow office at 7:30am. I’m not bitter, honest (and my mankini is at the dry cleaners anyway).

The point is that you’ll never have the funded lifestyle of some of the girls you fuck. Society is never going to bend over backwards to make life easy. You’ll never have doors opened for you, both figuratively and literally. People won’t fawn over you to make sure that you’re comfortable. You have to work to make something in life.

Before this post gives you the wrong message, here’s the key thesis:

It was never yours to have

I could go on and on, saying that girls have it so easy, but it’s not something I can control.

I’m guilty of this, and perhaps others are too, in thinking that when the player’s journey is complete then I’ll be like a god amongst men. Able to command pussy in the same way that a hot girl commands attention. Obviously, this isn’t going to happen. At least not with the calibre of girls who’s Instagrams we’re trawling through in the first place.

So what am I to do then?

The first thing to remind myself of is that what you see on social media is merely a highlights reel. Similarly, a PUA might only post infields of Yes girls and you think he’s living the dream.

I keep on coming back to strength vs weight behavioural tic (strong data is vivid and memorable, whereas weighty data is consistent but uninspiring). People overemphasise strong data in their thoughts and extrapolate it as if every day was like that. So when you see the girl lounging around on the beach, there’s a lot of time spent being bored, and probably a lot of time just taking the picture itself which you don’t think about. It’s still not comfort though.

The next thing that comes to mind is that you aren’t just an accessory to these girls because everyone has emotions. That Swedish girl misses me and she’s coming to London sometime in the summer, when we’ll see each other again. There’s got to be something bringing her back to me, and that decision will be based in emotions. At least, that’s what I have to tell myself to keep my ego afloat.

Of course, it’s also worth remembering the old adage of “men age like wine, women like milk”, but we don’t really get the last laugh because there’s always a new crop of hot girls to be jealous of.

Practically, I should stop looking at Instagram and all social media. I’ve only just started using my personal account regularly and post some stuff to project the image I want to project.

That was just a few thoughts that have passed through my mind recently.

Yours unfaithfully,

Thomas Crown

  1. There’s no denying that hot girls have it easier in some ways. But on the other hand, if you’re just an average looking girl (which by definition is most girls), you’ll never command the attention of a true high value guy. As guys we are lucky that our SMV can be improved, even if it’s harder.

  2. keep in mind girls have much more crazy emotional swings than men do. Girls can go from being on top of the world one moment, to extreme low self esteem another moment, feeling like complete shit. As men we don’t usually swing emotionally like that, nor do we ever feel extreme low self esteem and depressed like women do.
Like you said, social media is the highlight reel, you have no idea what goes on inside a person’s head, unless you really get to know them…

    1. True, though looking back at the article I see I was writing from a perspective of effort required rather than overall happiness.

Thinking of perspective: at least we’re RHS males and not having a continuously shit life .

      Liked by 1 person

    1. Irrelevant indeed…but no, not much. I want to Daygame as sessions rather than “just throwing it into your regular life”. So the most I can advise is what’s been said before: try indirect or “less direct”, be aware of IODs because of a lack of an escape route

  3. Funnily enough I was in the tube today and I saw loads of hotties, 7s, 8s and a few 9s that were just as miserable as everyone else there. Beauty is quite common actually, and very few girls go to yachts in the bahamas on their SMV alone.
Don’t get me wrong, I get the envy as well when I see how easy it is for a cute young girl to get her validation. But Instagram and social media in general is a terrible place to judge a person’s life. It might just be a week or two a year that she will enjoy the sunshine in a bikini, and that’s when she takes her pictures.
